King Charles travelled to Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk on Sunday for a brief Bank Holiday break, positioning himself just a short distance from his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who remains under police investigation.
The 77-year-old monarch was photographed being driven onto the property around midday on Sunday, seated in the rear of an electric Lotus Eletre.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has been residing at the neighbouring five-bedroom Marsh Farm since relocating there earlier this year following his departure from Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Wood Farm holds particular significance for the Royal Family, having been a favoured retreat of the late Duke of Edinburgh during his retirement years.
It is understood that King Charles will not meet with his younger brother during his stay at the estate.
Thames Valley Police announced on Friday that its inquiry into Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has expanded to encompass potential sexual misconduct allegations alongside the existing misconduct in public office investigation.
The force described the case as complex, noting that misconduct in public office can take various forms, including sexual offences, corruption and other wrongdoing.
Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright stated: "Our team of very experienced detectives are working meticulously through a significant amount of information that has come in from the public and other sources.
"We are committed to conducting a thorough investigation into all reasonable lines of enquiry, wherever they may lead."
Detectives are additionally examining an allegation that Mr Mountbatten-Windsor acted inappropriately towards a woman at Royal Ascot in 2002 as part of the broader investigation.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was taken into custody on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19, which was his 66th birthday, and questioned under caution before being released while the investigation continues.

Searches were carried out at his former residences in both Windsor and Norfolk.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any allegations of wrongdoing.
