HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has underscored the importance of consistent government policies in ensuring national stability and investor confidence during his first meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, today.
The King said the discussion, held at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, took place in a cordial atmosphere and touched on a range of issues of mutual interest between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
“This was our first meeting, and the Crown Prince is very knowledgeable on the various matters we discussed,” Sultan Ibrahim said in a statement released by the Royal Press Office after the audience.
“I also shared several of my views, particularly on the importance of consistent government policies and international relations. Consistent policies will bring stability to bilateral relations and provide confidence to attract investment to a country,” His Majesty said.
Sultan Ibrahim also commended Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, describing it as a significant national initiative aimed at strengthening the kingdom through economic diversification, people empowerment, and a dynamic investment environment.
Earlier, the King was accorded an official state welcome at Al-Yamamah Palace as part of his four-day state visit to Saudi Arabia, which began yesterday.
Accompanying His Majesty on the visit are Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj, and Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
