Tawau District Police Chief, ACP Jasmin Hussin said the 54-year-old foreigner was arrested in a raid when he was believed to be waiting for a customer in the area.
According to him, initial investigations found that the suspect boarded a bus from the state capital to Tawau and would use e-hailing vehicle services to meet customers to avoid being detected by the police.
However, the man was successfully arrested during a raid by a Tawau Narcotics Crime Investigation Division police team after being seen suspiciously in the area.
