Kota Kinabalu: A religious teacher at an Islamic education centre, here, was charged with two counts of committing physical sexual harassment against a girl pupil.
The 29-year-old man pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court Judge Amir Shah Amir Hassan to the charges against him on Friday.
On the first count, the man was accused of fondling the 11-year-old's breasts and touching her thigh between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in March 2022 at the centre.
On the second charge, he allegedly inserted his finger into the girl’s private part between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in January this year at the same place.
The court set March 24 for further mention.
