KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 — Over 50,000 people have visited the Selangor Pavilion for the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (PBAKL) at the World Trade Centre here until yesterday.
PBAKL coordinator Zafrullah Aris said various activities are being held to attract the public to the event, including exhibits by state government agencies and dialogue sessions.

“We also brought Selangor FC to sell their jerseys as a sign of solidarity for Faisal Halim and for the Selangor Youth Community to promote their products.
“Same as last year, we held the Laureates’ Heart and Mind segment on every day of the fair for them to share their experiences and success with the people,” he said when met by Selangorkini here.
The Selangor Pavilion, which is open from 10am to 10pm, also highlighted artists like Datuk Siti Zainon Ismail, Dato’ Zurinah Hassan, Daqmie, Ferri Anugerah Makmur, Roslan Madun, Azrul @ Maba, DJ Noramin, Sani Sudin and Namron.
The PBAKL opened on May 24 and ends today. It featured 969 booths and exhibits by local and international book publishers.
