SHAH ALAM, Nov 12 — Police arrested a man after he provoked and threatened a Shah Alam High Court bailiff and a police personnel who were carrying out their duties at a house in Pandamaran, Klang near here.
Klang Utara district police chief ACP Ramli Kasa said the bailiff and the police personnel were serving a High Court writ of summons at the house at about 3.30pm when a man from the house provoked them by smashing a glass bottle and threatening them.
“The man was arrested for obstructing civil servants from carrying out their duties and making criminal threats (against them). Further investigation is ongoing,” he said in a statement yesterday.
He also advised the public to comply with orders issued to avoid facing legal action. — Bernama
