SHAH ALAM: Gas Malaysia Berhad announced that the Serdang City Gate station has resumed operations, a key step in stabilising the gas supply network in the Klang Valley.
The station’s reopening will help improve gas distribution to industrial areas, including Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Bangi, Balakong, and Seri Kembangan.
Four City Gate stations are still offline, with impacted customer numbers reduced from 299 to 275, and full restoration expected by April 20.
Gas Malaysia clarified that the disruption was caused by a pipeline explosion at infrastructure owned by Petronas Gas Berhad, not by Gas Malaysia facilities.
The Group reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safe, reliable gas distribution and minimising disruption impacts throughout this challenging period.
