The highly-anticipated Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (or KLFW) is back! This year, KLFW is set to run from 3 August to 9 August – and will take place at the Esplanade, KLCC Park for the third consecutive time. The theme for the year is ‘Destination: Home Ground’ and more than 50 local brands will be taking the spotlight on the runway throughout the week.
With KLFW 2026, homegrown fashion truly takes centre stage as we’ve seen with the platform’s previous editions. Now in its 14th event, KLFW continues to provide a space for Malaysian designers to showcase their talent and creativity.

Andrew Tan, Founder of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, said: “KLFW is more than just a series of runway shows; it is a shared community experience where fashion enthusiasts, trendsetters, and visitors from all over gather at our home ground to witness passion in action.”
This year’s schedule comprises a variety of familiar labels, from Alia Bastamam and Behati to Kit Woo and Hatta Dolmat (who will be closing KLFW this year). Additionally, KLFW 2026 is also set to see debuts by the likes of Phyn Studio, EMRI, Super Structure (ManChien’s new label) and 99%ANGEL. Also, Raja Irfan is back with a new collection after last year’s participation in the AirAsia segment, Fiziwoo to unveil menswear extension Woo Brothers and Rizman Ruzaini is slated for back-to-back showings with RR as well as the main label.
KLFW 2026, which will be hosting a 500-seater show hall, has also partnered with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living. Using batik sourced from both East and West Malaysia, ten local designers are set to unveil 30 looks during the Fashion Forward Batik Malaysia show. So much to look forward to!
