KLIA named among world’s top 10 airports in 2024 ASQ Survey

KUALA LUMPUR International Airport (KLIA) has achieved a remarkable feat by ranking among the top 10 airports worldwide in the prestigious 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey, which evaluates airports handling more than 40 million passengers annually.

In the survey conducted by Airports Council International (ACI), KLIA was awarded an impressive score of 4.99 out of 5, almost perfect in its assessment of passenger satisfaction across various key areas, including safety, services, facilities, and cleanliness.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) expressed pride in the achievement, noting that the near-perfect score highlights KLIA’s excellence in providing a world-class airport experience. ASQ, renowned for being a leading data-driven benchmark for airport quality, helps assess and recognise the best airports globally by gathering real-time passenger feedback.

"KLIA’s ranking among the top 10 airports worldwide is a testament to the consistent dedication of our team to deliver an exceptional travel experience. This recognition further solidifies KLIA’s position as a leading global aviation hub," said MAHB in a statement today.

KLIA’s impressive performance underscores its status as a key player in the global aviation industry, continuing to meet the highest standards of service and excellence, benefiting both passengers and airlines alike.

The airport's achievement in the ASQ survey reinforces Malaysia's commitment to maintaining world-class infrastructure and services in the ever-evolving aviation sector. - March 17, 2025
