Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to secure Diogo Jota to a new contract.

Jota still has three years to run on his current deal.

However, talks are underway over a new contract, on the orders of manager Jurgen Klopp, says the Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old is due back in training within a fortnight after aggravating a hamstring injury last month.

Last season, Jota scored 21 goals and made eight assists to help his side win the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, as well as reach the Champions League final.
