Sepp van den Berg has travelled with the Liverpool squad to Thailand.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has taken 37 players to Thailand and Singapore for the first-leg of their preseason tour.
Van den Berg is included after spending last season on-loan at Preston.
The Dutchman was expected to depart again for loan this summer, but his inclusion in Klopp's squad could mean he will be involved this new season.
