Surveillance footage shows the moment a knife-wielding man set a restaurant alight using a burning propane tank.
On Tuesday (7 July), the suspect, Rubiel Maceo Castillo, 53, entered a restaurant on West Waters Avenue in Tampa, Florida, with a propane tank in hand.
Bodycam footage shared by Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies making their way through the burning building.
After locating Castillo, who they said was carrying two knives, officers instructed him to drop the weapons, and they swiftly arrested him.
The rampage was reportedly linked to a domestic incident between Castillo and his wife.
Castillo faces multiple charges, including first-degree arson on an occupied structure.
