Knifeman found guilty of trying to break into London’s Israeli embassy

• Abdullah Albadri, a failed asylum seeker, has been convicted of attempting to break into the Israeli embassy in London with knives.
• The 34-year-old, born in Kuwait, was found guilty of preparation of terrorist acts and possession of two bladed articles by a jury at the Old Bailey.
• Albadri was tackled by armed police in May 2025 after he scaled the embassy fence in Kensington, armed with two four-inch knives.
• Jurors were told he intended to 'exact revenge' for the killing of children in Gaza, a motive he expressed to police after his arrest.
• He claimed during his trial that the knives were for 'personal use' due to homelessness and that he never intended to harm anyone, describing his actions as a protest.
