KUALA LUPUR: The KNKV Viral Award 2025, to take place in May next year, is a platform to give recognition to social media influencers who have successfully promoted the spirit of unity, said Deputy Minister of National Unity Senator K. Saraswathy.

She said the awards ceremony, themed ‘Fostering National Unity’, will be held on May 17 next year at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

Advertisement“The organisation of KNKV Viral Award 2025 will help to provide guidance to influencers and social media users on how to use the platform more responsibly,” she said at a press conference after the launch of the KNKV Viral Award 2025 here today.

Meanwhile, KNKV Group chief executive officer Prof Adam Richman said the award will focus on digital content that promotes values of harmony, cooperation and cultural diversity.

“Each influencer involved must have at least 500,000 followers on social media, be free from controversy, and not involved in political issues,” he said.
