Kobbie Mainoo became a record-breaker for Manchester United at Liverpool on Sunday.
The midfielder started at Anfield for the 0-0 draw.
And the 18 year-old became United's youngest-ever starter against Liverpool in the Premier League, reports manutd.com.
Mainoo was one of six Academy graduates who played some part against Liverpool, with Alejandro Garnacho and Jonny Evans also starting the game, and impressing.
Scott McTominay captained the Reds for the first time in the league.e
Note: Mainoo's record only marks the Premier League era, with the likes of Lee Sharpe at 17 facing Liverpool as a United player in the old First Division.
