Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Kok Jken Yung won the Myth Cafe Open 9 Ball Championship held at Myth Cafe premises in Lintas on Friday.

The national players defeated former international Ibrahim Amir 7-2 in the final to take home the RM4,000 cash prize while the runner-up received RM2,000.

Earlier in the semi-finals, Kok edged Darren from Singapore 7-6 while Ibrahim beat Samy Mahalusan with the same score to book their places in the final.

The two semi-finalists each received RM500 and RM200 each was also given to Casey Lim, Frankie Kok, Johari Abdullah and Desmond Wong who made it to the quarter-finals.
