KUALA LUMPUR – All Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) Komuter train services in the Klang Valley for the Tg Malim-KL Sentral-Tg Malim line and ETS services that were affected by a collapsed construction crane between Rawang and Kuang two days ago have been restored.
KTMB said the first Komuter train, number 2301, began operations as early as 5.05am from the Tg Malim station to KL Sentral.
"KTMB wishes to apologise once again for the incident. We thank our affected passengers for their cooperation and appreciate your observations and understanding,” it said in a statement today.

On Tuesday, part of a crane used for the construction of a multi-level car park collapsed at 5.33pm at KM355.749 of the train tracks between the Rawang and Kuang stations, severing the overhead line.
The incident affected roughly 10,000 passengers, and bus services were provided to service their journey to and from Sg Buloh and Serendah, as well as for those travelling on the KL Sentral-Sg Buloh-Tg Malim route for the ETS.
KTMB group chief executive Datuk Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin also said KTMB would be issuing refunds through KTM Wallet to passengers who want to cancel their travel. – December 14, 2023
