Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 cases continued to dip to 224 on Monday from 231 the day earlier, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

However, Masidi said, Kota Kinabalu’s cases shot up by more than half to 137 from 63 the day earlier, and also topped the caseload.

In second is Penampang with 15 cases, followed by Papar (13), Tuaran (13) and Putatan (10).

“Nine districts recorded an increase while 10 recorded a decrease in daily cases. Ten districts did not record any new infections,” he said in a statement, Monday.

Masidi said 223 out of 224 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was recorded in category three. Seventy-two per cent were sporadic.
