
Kota Kinabalu: A fly-past show over the Kota Kinabalu airspace in conjunction with the State-level National Day Celebration 2023 will be the first of its kind in the State, involving Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) assets.
State Finance Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Datuk Mohd Sofian Alfian Nair said it would be one of the main attractions in conjunction with the celebration, besides a parade with 200 contingents participating.
He said various programmes and activities have been lined up during the Independence Month, beginning with the launching of the State-level National Month on August 1,” he said after paying a courtesy call on Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at Intana Negeri, here.
Mohd Sufian, who is also the Main Organising Committee secretary, said the purpose of the visit was to invite Juhar to attend the celebration at Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens on Aug 31.
