Kota Kinabalu: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Tanjung Aru will host the 2024 JCI Malaysia National Convention.
JCI Tanjung Aru Bidding Chairperson Amanda Yong Man Weng said they have successfully secured the hosting rights for 2024 during the 2023 JCI Malaysia National Convention held at Courtyard by Marriott in Malacca.
She said the three-day 2024 National Convention to be held in Kota Kinabalu from Oct 10 is expected to be attended by over 1,000 JCI members from various regions.
“As the host, we pledge to showcase the culture, hospitality and business opportunities of Sabah.

Read more The convention offers a rich agenda, including the national general assembly, election of national board of directors, seminars, public speaking and debate competitions, talent battle and a small trade exhibition.
“We’ve initiated collaborations with government and business partners to ensure this convention shines brightly in Sabah.
“Preparations are underway and we look forward to collaborating closely with all related parties for a successful convention,” she said in a statement.
JCI is a non-profit international organisation that spans across 124 countries or regions, dedicated to inspiring young businessmen and entrepreneurs aged 18 to 40 to engage in social service, economic development, international cooperation, goodwill and understanding.
JCI Tanjung Aru has received numerous awards, including the 2023 JCI Malaysia Area Sabah Best of the Best Award, 100pc Efficiency Award, 3-Star Award and the Most Outstanding Impactful Project Award.
