KOTA KINABALU: A nine-day ASEAN Islamic Youth Leadership Training program will be held in Kota Kinabalu starting 16 August. It is jointly organised by RISEAP, USIA, and the Sabah Islamic NGOs Council.

RISEAP Secretary-General Dato Haji Mohamad Marzuki Omar briefed Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor on the program, which aims to develop moral leadership, effective communication, conflict resolution, and inclusive values amongst ASEAN youth.

The program also encourages community engagement and strengthens regional youth ties to build a resilient and peaceful ASEAN community.
