
KOTA KINABALU: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) has successfully thwarted the misappropriation of 8,177 kilogrammes (kg) of subsidised cooking oil packets and 48kg of coarse granulated sugar in an operation.
Sabah KPDN Director Georgie Abas said the raid was carried out on Sunday at a terraced house in Taman Hings, here, following a public tip-off.
The total value of the seizure amounted to RM20,579.30.
