KTM Komuter services disrupted after locomotive derailment at Batang Benar

KTM KOMUTER services in the Klang Valley were disrupted on Saturday following the derailment of an engineering project locomotive at Batang Benar station, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) said.

As a result of the incident, KTM Komuter trains operating on the Batu Caves–Pulau Sebang–Batu Caves route will temporarily not stop at Batang Benar station.

“For passengers travelling to or from Batang Benar station, shuttle bus services have been provided at Nilai station, Batang Benar station and Bangi station,” KTMB said in a statement issued today.

The operator said repair works are currently being carried out to address the incident.

KTMB advised passengers who require further assistance to seek information from on-duty station staff.

“Updates on train service developments will be provided from time to time,” the statement added. - January 25, 2026
