Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week is about to kick off for the second time – running from 22 to 27 April 2024. All you need to know here!
After last year’s exciting debut, Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week (KLCW) is set to return once again! Slated to be bigger than before, KLCW 2025 is about to be a celebration unlike any other. The one-week festival will see the convergence of industry figures from the most revered bars in the world, including from our very own establishments. With its aim to elevate the cocktail scene here in Malaysia and strengthen the community within the industry, KLCW 2025 has been carefully curated with a plethora of bar takeovers, cocktail pairings and seminars.
Five zones have been designated for this year’s edition. They are Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Chinatown, Damansara Heights, Petaling Jaya/Taman Tun Dr. Ismail and Bangsar. Every area will host its very own guest shifts and dinner sessions — and on 26 April, Sentul Depot will house the Festival Village featuring 33 different booths. Happening from 2.30PM to 11.30PM, the Festival Village is set to be a lively coming-together of the most beloved brands around as well as enthusiasts from Malaysia and beyond. Expect performances from the acts such as Dasha Logan, Peot, Irama and Aidaho. Entry is priced at RM100 nett per person and sold on FunNow.
KLCW 2025 comprises a plethora of Malaysian bars including the likes of Astor Bar, Bar Trigona, Budi, Cabinet 8, Good Friend’s Club, Haiiro Usagi, Here & Now, JungleBird, Lavantha, Living Room at W, No Bar Here, Penrose, Reka, Terumi and Three X Co. Additionally, the sophomore edition will also see a selection of the most acclaimed bars from across the globe converging here in Kuala Lumpur ranging from Taiwan’s Vender, Singapore’s Jigger & Pony and Mongolia’s Nomad Lab to Hong Kong’s Bar Leone, Mexico’s Handshake Speakeasy and Thailand’s BKK Social Club.
Brands such as Chivas Regal, Hendrick’s Gin, Hennessy, Jameson, Johnnie Walker, Martell, Monkey Shoulder, Rémy Martin, Roku Gin and Edelweiss are among the many names sponsoring KLCW 2025 alongside FunNow for ticketing and reservation. Speaking of reservations, look forward to a myriad of cocktail pairing dinners planned for this year featuring the likes of Ignis with Chivas Regal, Bistro Léa with Three X Co, Fifty Tales with Martell, Beta with Rémy Cointreau and Okaju with Beam Suntory.
