The Kuala Lumpur police have been notified of eight reports from representatives of political parties concerning the "Dubai Move," which allegedly aims to overthrow the unity government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Confirming these reports, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid stated that they were lodged at various locations, including the Putrajaya, Cheras, and Dang Wangi district police headquarters. Mahathir Mohd Yunus, Special Functions Officer to the Prime Minister's political secretary Datuk Azman Abidin, spoke to reporters after filing a police report at the Cheras district police headquarters.
