Kota Kinabalu: Sabahan beauty Wenanita Angang was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2022, beating 14 other beauties.
The Kuala Penyu lass will represent Malaysia at the international pageant.
Evelyn Ting from Sarawak placed second while Anya Kimberly, who is also Sabahan, was third.
Reigning 2021 Miss World Malaysia Dr Lavanya Sivaji handed over the crown to Wenanita during the coronation night at Sabah International Convention Center, here, Saturday.
