WELL done to Sabah FC for the win over Penang FC and the precious three points in the bag.
Though there were shuffling of players in the team, Sabah FC still had the upper hand in the game.
However, we could have easily been a goal down in the first few minutes of the game as the defence was exposed but luckily the final pass to Penang FC’s Mohd Al Hafiz Harun was poor allowing Gabriel Peres the chance to quickly recover and block his goal-bound shot.
The agonising miss from the home team was a massive relief for Sabah FC as Irfan Fazail then scored that opening goal in the ninth minute to take the lead.
