Kota Kinabalu: Members of the Persatuan Kebudayaan dan Kebajikan Etnik Kujau, Gana, Nabai Sabah (KGNS) are urged to support the leadership and work together to strengthen the association.
Its Deputy President Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik said unity between leaders and members is essential for the association’s success, describing KGNS as an important platform to preserve the heritage of the Kujau, Gana and Nabai communities while promoting their welfare.
“When leaders and members move in the same direction, no challenge is too great to face,” he said in a statement.
Yazid urged members to pay their fees regularly, participate actively in programmes and contribute ideas and efforts towards the association’s development.
He also called on members to set aside differences and uphold mutual respect, saying the community’s cultural heritage is a responsibility that must be preserved for future generations.
“KGNS belongs to all of us. Every member has a responsibility to ensure the association continues to grow and benefit the community,” he said.
