Kota Kinabalu: A barter trade boat from Philippines is set to sail for Labuan to jumpstart the revival of barter trade activities next month.
According to BEBC Philippine Country Director Redentor “Popoy” Laudin, a group of Filipino barter traders would conduct its maiden voyage in November for barter trade activities.
He hoped the ‘Kumpit’ (long-wooden boat) from Southern Philippines will be successful trip for both parties concerned.
