
KUNAK: A man was killed and three others were injured after their Isuzu D-Max plunged six metres into a ravine along Jalan Kunak–Tawau early Monday morning.
Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at 4.38am and found the vehicle wrecked with all four men inside, including one who was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry medics.
The remaining victims, aged between 28 and 39, sustained semi-critical injuries and were given initial treatment by the EMRS team before being taken to Kunak Hospital and Tawau Hospital.
The operation ended at 6.55am after the scene was secured and the victims were handed over to the relevant agencies.
