KUNAK: Kunak Community Development Leader, Hussin Mohd Rais, said the proposed Sapang Waterfront in Kg Sapang Air, here, put forward by tourism players and the local community, is a right step as it can help the community benefit economically.
“This area is very attractive with its beautiful sea and clean environment. This place also has good potential besides being close to Semporna, which is already a tourist attraction. We can develop many facilities here, especially to further enhance the district’s tourism sector,” he said when officiating the Jom Memancing Programme held at the coast of Kg Sapang Air, recently.
The programme was organised by Ocean Blue Coastal Travel and Tour Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Sapang Waterfront, Putera Palas Enterprise, Semporna Blissful Travel, Semporna Dreams Destination, Kunak Wonderful Travel, Kunak Fishing and Travel, and Blue Ring Reef Travel and Tour.
Also present were Ocean Blue Coastal Travel Tour Sdn Bhd Manager, Lajuliadi Lajahidi, Sapang Air Village Head, Denan Mohamad, and the local community.
