SANDAKAN: The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry (Kuskop) is expanding its Halal Success programme nationwide to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) better understand the halal certification process.

Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick said Malaysia’s halal certification is highly respected both locally and internationally, opening doors for local products to reach global markets.

Speaking after launching the programme at Sandakan Community College on Sunday, he said the initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen the competitiveness and market access of halal entrepreneurs.
