Manchester City risk losing a second player from sister club New York City FC.
NYCFC youngster James Sands is trialling this week with Germany's Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The US youth international is a defender who can also play in midfield and is tied to NYCFC's academy.
City have already seen the talented Gio Reyna move to Borussia Dortmund this year.
Despite coming through at NYCFC and being the son of former City midfielder Claudio Reyna, Gio signed for BVB this past summer.
