I’m sorry, but this is not something we should simply accept.
“KWAP kena scam.”
That’s it?
This isn’t private money.
Ini bukan duit syarikat. Ini bukan duit ahli politik.
Ini duit pencen rakyat. Duit penjawat awam yang bekerja 30, 40 tahun demi negara.
People trusted that their retirement savings would be protected.
Instead, we’re now hearing RM200 million was allegedly lost because of an investment scam.
My question is simple.
Macam mana boleh jadi?
You have investment committees.
You have risk management.
You have professionals.
You have billions under your care.
And yet RM200 million boleh kena scam?
Yes, I understand the company allegedly misrepresented its financial statements.
But that doesn’t change the responsibility of those managing our pension funds.
Tanggungjawab mereka adalah melindungi duit rakyat.
Saying “kami pun kena tipu” is not enough.
Rakyat nak jawapan.
What went wrong?
Who approved the investment?
What safeguards failed?
And most importantly…
Can we get our money back?
Because at the end of the day…
Ini bukan duit kerajaan.
This is our money.
The money our parents are counting on for retirement.
The money that was entrusted to be protected.
Every ringgit matters. Every ringgit is an amanah.
The rakyat deserve transparency.
The rakyat deserve accountability.
Bila melibatkan duit pencen rakyat, “kami pun kena scam” simply isn’t good enough.
