Released Leicester City fullback Danny Simpson is a target for Amiens.
The Sun says Simpson has been a free agent since leaving Leicester, where he won the title, with a move to Celtic collapsing.
Yet Amiens in Ligue 1 have come in for him after losing right-back Emil Krafth to Newcastle and they are now discussing terms.
Simpson wants around 30,000 a week and Amiens are considering stumping up to take him across the Channel.
Crystal Palace also have been interested in the right-back.
