Wales coach Ryan Giggs has revealed what he told Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about Daniel James.

Giggs says the former Swansea City winger has noticeably improved over the past six months.

"From a standing start, he is quick and he'll beat anyone," said Giggs.

It's just that, like any other young winger, the finishing touches, that final ball and scoring more goals, he will get better at.

Ole asked me about him and I just told him that he's a player with plenty of potential, obviously really quick and a great lad. Someone you want in the dressing room, a great character.

Especially for the money, it was a no-brainer really because he is a talent. Since Christmas, he's just got better and better.

I watched him a lot for Swansea last year and he ripped nearly every full-back in that division apart.

He's just got better and better over the last six or seven months."
