Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has left Germany's camp with illness.
The 28-year-old was expected to face Northern Ireland on Monday night after Friday's disappointing loss to the Netherlands.
He has now left Belfast to recover from a cold.
Germany are three points behind Northern Ireland in Group C.
