LABUAN: Sabah-based Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah’s (GRS) decision to expand here will be welcomed by many as voters will have a wider election choice.
“But GRS cannot expect automatic support just because it is the ruling party in Sabah. To make an impact, it should dangle a carrot to Labuan,” said political activist Julius Elias.
He said it would be a step in the right direction if the State Government reinstated the Nominated State Assembly seat to Labuan.
