LABUAN: A total of 15 candidates from Labuan International School (LIS) achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, making all eligible to receive their certificates.

Labuan International School Chief Executive Officer Raaj Ganesh Chandragasan said the success was driven by the school’s continuous focus on English language mastery and academic excellence.

A total of 91.7 per cent of students scored at least one A+, while three candidates — Izreen Iskandar, Nur Alya Syuhadah Yusman Syahri, and Wan Rayyan Faris Shah Wan Ahmad — achieved straight As.

“Meanwhile, 93 per cent of the candidates managed to obtain at least one A,” he said.

He added that LIS also recorded another notable achievement by winning two “Top of the World” awards in the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations for the 2024–2025 period.
