LAHAD DATU: Two men were arrested in connection with a break-in at Kampung Silam, here, on July 20.

District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said both suspects were detained at 7pm on Monday at Jalan Dahlia.

The arrest followed a report by a 62-year-old who discovered that his house door had been forced open and one unit of air conditioning and a fan were missing from his house.

Dzulbaharin said the local was found to have three previous criminal records, and some equipment believed used to commit the crime were also seized.

The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
