LAHAD DATU: The business community here has been advised to be wary of someone pretending to be a “Fire Department hostel warden”.

Lahad Datu Fire Station Chief Sumsoa Rashid said they received information that someone is posing as a Fire Department hostel warden seeking to purchase large quantities of beds.

“We received information from a furniture dealer about an order of some 30 double-decked beds and 70 mattresses,” he said, adding they were not seeking to buy the items nor had they authorised any one to do so.

“Be careful and always contact the fire station if there are any doubts over such orders,” said Sumsoa, adding the public can call 089-884996 or 018-88144s if they have any doubts.
