LAHAD DATU: Sabah Bajau Sama Association Vice President, Datuk Japlin Akim said the district had the potential to become a new destination when developed in various sectors, especially tourism, and contribute to the economic growth of the state of Sabah.
“Lahad Datu is expected to change its appearance after several proposed projects are implemented including efforts to upgrade the airport, hospital and port.
“We see and feel that the time has come for the district’s airport to be expanded and revamped in line with efforts to enhance the tourism sector in the district.
