
Kota Kinabalu: The Idahan community of Lahad Datu Sabah made history when the Idahan Ethnic Association of Sabah (PEIS) in collaboration with the Lahad Datu District Office and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia (Motac) held the Salag Festival for the first time.
It would be a new tourism product for the east coast state.
This Festival which lasted two days from Oct 29 to 30 was officiated by Datuk OKK Titing Putang, Chairman of the Sabah State Cultural Board, representing Datuk Jefry Ariffin, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment of Sabah.
