LAHAD DATU: A wooden house and an adjacent shop in Kampung Ulang-Ulang were destroyed in fire, last Wednesday.
District Fire and Rescue Station chief, Sumsoa Rashid, said his department received a distress call following the incident at 9.36pm via Mers999.

The team was assisted by Pasukan Bomba Sukarela from Felda Sahabat and Silabukan.

"The team managed to put the fire under control at 10.50pm. Both premises were 100 per cent destroyed in the incident,” he said.

He added that no casualty was reported and the cause of fire as well as losses are being investigated.
