LAHAD DATU: Police arrested a 36-year-old man on Monday for allegedly molesting his 16-year-old niece, a crime she claimed had been ongoing since she was 10.
District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the suspect was detained in a plantation village and is under investigation under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
Police will apply for remand.
