LaLiga president Javier Tebas is backing Real Madrid's move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

Tebas says the competition will benefit from Mbappe's arrival.

Asked about the departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi, he told A Bola: "They have not caused any damage because we have not decreased, but with them we would surely have grown faster.

"The French league with Messi, Neymar and Mbapp did not grow, Cristiano Ronaldo went to Italy and the international income of the Italian league did not increase. Ours did, despite losing both.

"The reason is that both the sponsors and the audiovisual media are more concerned that the competition is economically sustainable and that seven years later it continues to be very competitive.

"Furthermore, in Spain there are always very good players. This year we have the best in the world, Bellingham, last season Lewandowski was at a great level, Atltico has Griezmann, if Mbapp comes that will help us be more competitive and grow even faster."
