LaLiga president Javier Tebas insists the Saudi Pro League isn't a threat to Europe.
Spain U21 star Gabri Veiga left Celta Vigo for Al-Ahli last month.
But Tebas said: "I'm not worried about the Saudi championship.
"China or the MLS tried and failed, Europe remains the industrial zone of football: it is not a coincidence, but for many reasons.
"If they want to grow they will have to work to grow the brands of their clubs and the competition."
