Lamborghini has revealed the ultimate wind-in-the-hair experience with the Fenomeno Roadster.

The Fenomeno Roadster will be limited to just 15 examples worldwide and will feature a two-seater layout and the company’s new V12 hybrid setup.

Under the bonnet, the Roadster is powered by the firm’s 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 petrol engine mated to three electric motors to make a combined power output of 1,049bhp and 725Nm of torque – the most powerful V12 configuration Lamborghini has ever produced.

That means 100 km/h comes around in just 2.4 seconds, while 0-200 km/h is achieved in 6.7 seconds and the car will reach a top speed of more than 350 km/h.

To increase driveability, the Roadster is fitted with ‘CCM-R Plus’ carbon ceramic brake discs to provide the best stopping power. It also has manually adjustable racing shock absorbers, which can lower the car’s ride height for precise tuning for road and track driving.

The Roadster’s body is made up of a carbon fibre monocoque and its front structure is made from Forged Composite which makes the chassis more rigid and reduces weight. Unlike the coupe variant, the Roadster features a spoiler mounted on the windscreen to help direct air over the cockpit and down to the engine bay, while the front end incorporates wide air intakes and hexagonal design elements.

Its side profile has wide sills and air intakes behind the doors, while at the back there is a deep rear diffuser and active carbon fibre spoiler to maximise downforce.

The cabin features a patented ‘carbon skin’ material found on the seats and dashboard, while the contoured seats with contrasting red stitching offer maximum support when cornering. Furthermore, there is the ‘Pilot Interaction’ instrument cluster which features three digital displays with hexagonal graphics, along with haptic buttons and aviation-inspired toggle switches.

Prices for Fenomeno Roadster have not been revealed at this stage, though customers will be allowed to customise their car to their required specification.
