Kota Kinabalu: Government agencies must increase efficiency and accountability to ensure that development initiatives, particularly those involving healthcare, are not delayed by administrative issues and bureaucratic hurdles, said State
Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk James Ratib.
In a media conference here Monday, he stressed the importance of cooperation between officials at both federal and state levels, saying failure to do so could result in project delays and hindrances to the State’s development agenda.
James, also the State Health Exco, said this while expressing concern over the delay in rebuilding the Tangkarason Health Clinic in Beluran which was destroyed in a fire last week.
