Kota Kinabalu: Jalan Tomis Tiong Lokos at kilometer 4.8 in Kiulu, Tuaran, has been temporarily closed since 11pm Thursday due to a landslide, it has been announced.
The Works Department in a Facebook statement said that the road closure is in effect until further notice.
Advertisement"The landslide occurred due to soil movement and damage to the culvert under the road. The closure was made for the safety of users due to soil movement that is still active and to make way for temporary works to repair the culvert pipe," the department said.
An alternative road that can be used from the area is Jalan Pukak Lokub Pahu, the department added.
